Just seen 4
- Groundhog Day – has a well-deserved classic status
- Starship Troopers – liked the coed shower, rest was repetitive and dull
- Avatar – I saw about the first fourth then jumped to the big battle finale. Pretty much unwatchable. Just an outer space version of the “white savior” film where a white male leads a persecuted minority into battle.
- Galaxy Quest – saw it once long ago but have good memories of it. Nice funny but affectionate satire of one of my all-time favorite classic TV shows.

Nice funny but affectionate satire of one of my all-time favorite classic TV shows. Those are good observations. - Groundhog Day - I agree - Starship Troopers - I thought it was funny all the way through. You realize it was a satire of stupid space action movies, right? - Avatar - I didn't like the "white man bad - indigenous holy and pure" message either. But still a cinematic masterpiece. - Galaxy Quest - I agree. I like space action movies. So being objective, it's funny to me when a good satirical poke about them is made.

- Deadpool - Liked it quite a bit. - Groundhog Day - Cute movie, but not quite the classic it's held up to be by most. - Starship Troopers - Cheesy fun, like it a lot. - Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy - N/S, I can't stand Will Ferrell. - Guardians of the Galaxy - Great return of the space opera after a long hiatus from the screen. - The Incredibles - Good cartoon. - Avatar - N/S, never had any interest in it. - Galaxy Quest - Fun, affectionate romp that spoofs cult shows as well as their fandoms, but lovingly. - No Men Beyond this Point - Never heard of this. - Blood Diamond - N/S - Towelhead - Never heard of this one either.

It's so stupid, and unnecessary. It doesn't make any sense. WHY IS IT EVEN HERE? I'M SICK OF IT !!!" I'm paraphrasing. I can't remember her exact words.

One thing, among many, that cracks me up is as the movie progresses, the zipper on her uniform gets lower and lower! Noticed it the second time I watched the movie. Tony Shalhoub and Alan Rickman were really great as well.

- Deadpool, Part entertaining and part dull, but I'm not the target audience for this one - Groundhog Day , classig old-fashioned comedy - Starship Troopers , satire or send-up or tribute to old war movies updated to science-fiction, rather entertaining, at least once. - Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy , I didn't get this one at all. - Guardians of the Galaxy , entertaining enough to watch to the end, but I'm not the target audience for this one either. - The Incredibles , Funny and entertaining - Avatar , Maybe not the great epic it wan't to be, but pretty impressive anyway, at least once. - Galaxy Quest , Warm and funny tribute to the old science-fiction TV-series, maybe one in particular. - No Men Beyond this Point , Not Seen - Blood Diamond , Serious action movie with a message, I thought it was good, but it's not one I'm too eager to re-watch. - Towelhead, Not seen
The above is my opinions and not anything I would force anyone to agree with.

Hadn't seen Groundhog Day, Towelhead, or No Men Beyond This Point. The rest I either like or loved a lot. fwiw ... Groundhog Day needs more than one viewing and some reading about AFTER you watch it the first time. Recommended even if you didn't care for it the first time ... and maybe especially if.

I believe when Sigourney Weaver asks those questions, the Tim Allen character actually says, "Because it's in the script." Ha ha ha !!!

I love when the Bill Murray character punches the insurance salesman. I'm not one who advocates for violence. But it's just a comedy. And nothing seems to matter at that point.
