The original film's plot is about these brothers involved in a bank robbery gone wrong and they steal an ambulance to make their escape. I guess for the Bay version, a plot twist is that the vehicle is a disguised Autobot.

A Bay-mbulance? Will they steal Autobot Ratchet from the Stop 'N Go, where Joe is being bitten by a dog while in a phone booth making a 9-1-1 call about hitting a deer with his car?

I did not know of this, until now. I remember I saw the danish film back in winter of 2017, and by the looks of my rating (5/10) I remember not too much, or that it was very impressive. Still, one thing I do remember, is the cute Helle Fagralid, who I had a huge crush on when I was kid, because of her role as Manette in the Scandinavian tv-production/mini series known as Mysteriet med det levende lik (1992), or in english, Mystery with the living corpse.
That show I would love to see getting a DVD/Blu-ray release, as it was kind of dark stuff for kids, but I notice that most of it, is uploaded in very good quality on Youtube:
Anyway, as long as Bay stays the hell out of remaking Larry Cohen and his The Ambulance (1990), than I am fine.

That’s the Bayhem at work. I would totally watch a documentary about Michael Bay blowing shit up behind the scenes.
