Altho.. I feel like I'm watching After MASH....
This place does seem more relaxed. The IGNORE feature seems a little more IGNOREY... So.. One has better control over your stalkers. I do like the instant gif that allows you so show what your thinking... Instead of just creating a link that you hope somebody clicks on. Who knows?.. This place might even be an improvement.
*checks IMDB message board*
Yeah! An improvement!!

" The IGNORE feature seems a little more IGNOREY... So.. One has better control over your stalkers. " I haven't used the IGHNOR function, but any time one of my ignored posters responded to one of my posts, I would take them off in order to read, and if appropriate, reply to the post. I did not use ignore as a shield to protect me from hurt feelings, but only to block out spammers and bores who used the forum like their personal Twitter or Facebook feed. So if IGHNOR here blocks you from seeing that the poster has responded, I find that a shame and am less likely to use the function.

It sounds like you never really used the function to begin with. I actually had the same problem.. my curiosity always got the better of me and I checked to see what they wrote... The only time that it didn't really matter to me was when I put Rabbit on IGNORE... I didn't care what he actually had to say.. It was always just repetitive, non-sensical gibberish... I usually just edited in an insult to whatever post he was responding to, and called it a day. But, that's kind of my point... If IGNORE creates it so that it turns the person in question into a complete non-entity to you... That has to be better than you seeing that person responding to you and not being able to see what he said.

If IGNORE creates it so that it turns the person in question into a complete non-entity to you... That has to be better than you seeing that person responding to you and not being able to see what he said. I actually had quite a large ignore list, but the use of the function was mainly to stop seeing boring Facebook-style threads on the board and not because I wished to have no further interaction with the individual in question. Also, if you have no awareness that someone has responded to your post, that makes it possible for them to post mendacious lies about you without your being able to defend yourself (unless someone else quoted the post). So I suppose it looks like I'm just going to be tolerating boring attention whores henceforth. I almost put 'Rabbit' on ignore once for not addressing all of my points, but disregarding his posts would have been just as good as blocking them from sight. But actually, I didn't mind and will actually rather miss Rabbit, because his bizarrely worded insults made me laugh.
