Bobby Heenan JJ Dillon Jimmy Hart Fuji Cornette ...list goes on an on. Lets welcome in a new legendary era of 'Managers'. So these cats are in the HOF and some if not all are on Legends Contracts. Willing to bet they can use the money too and were superb on air talents - not only in the ring but on the mic and good to get people over and were great in ring psychologists............. Hall: Bring Carlito back or just give him a faction of Cuban/Mexican/etc sports entertainers to get over. Flair: Ziggler (been asking for this for years - Flair could be his JJ Dillon. super talented in the ring and works better as a heel) Roberts Who was that cat in TNA that played the 'evil manager' role to Abyss early on? anywho - he's kind of like the Sullivan role in WCW - just some dark demented loon. Here's what you get in return for a viewer tuning in. Some of these young duds can't cut a promo to save their life. Hall, Flair, Roberts are 'mouth pieces' ala Heyman. They get people over. Maybe with time and being properly 'seasoned' the sports entertainer can get over on his own. You also get an old school star who had old school fans to tune in and see. I gotta be blunt. I rarely tune in nowadays. You tell me - Hall, Flair, Roberts having a faction? And we have 'faction wars'. That's got my interest. Ratings grab for Old School Fans. Who's With Me. Discuss.

I'm with you on everything except the stereotype Hall with Cubans/Mexicans thing. That just sounds awful.

I like your idea but I'd prefer guys that broke in as managers rather than old time wrestlers. Granted there's old school wrestlers who became managers after their in ring career was over, but still.

I'm guessing Hall will be using his "Razor Ramon" gimmick instead of his real name?

Sounds good. Managers were often the most fun and best heels. Paul Heyman is a perfect example as is Bobby "the Brain" Heenan
Was James Mitchell aka The Sinister Minister the TNA guy?

I always loved Heenan. His stable of Perfect/Giant/Rude/Brain Busters/Race/Hercules/Islanders.
Of course not all at the same time but his "Heenan Family" was always a blast for me. I was more a WWF guy (Now I try to get any old classic WcW event I can find) and I was sad to see him go over to WcW.
