The documentary 'David Crosby - Remember My Name' (2019) is directed by A. J. Eaton and co-produced by music journalist and filmmaker Cameron Crowe who interviewed musician and songwriter David Crosby (The Byrds) in 1974. It's a confessional, straight-up, with the stream-of-consciousness that characterises Crosby's compositional work.
Crosby's a born rogue but he knows music lovers are always pulling for him, through thick and through thin. Besides, who doesn't have a pal (or family member) they cherish that always drives them up the wall, around the bend, and straight to the depths of hell.
Mr. Crosby - "Keep on keepin' on ..."
It's now screening on the channel Sky Arts.

'If I Could Only Remember My Name' is a great album, up there in the psychedelic pantheon.
Will keep eyes peeled...

I see that his father was the cinematographer on High Noon. Floyd Crosby became Roger Corman's photographer on numerous projects, David Crosby's mother was a political activist.

That's Nash. Always thought he was the peacemaker. It was Stills supposedly that caused all the fights and hatred.

Forget all of these sappy, syrupy films about Freddie Mercury, Elton John, etc......
You want a great rock n roll film? The story of CSNY.
That is a 50 year old soap opera that continues to this day. If done properly, would make a great movie.

That's Nash. Always thought he was the peacemaker. It was Stills supposedly that caused all the fights and hatred. Nash was the peacemaker for years, but now he and Crosby are totally on the outs. As crazy as this sounds, at this point Stills is probably the most stable of the four, and the only one who gets along with everyone else.

I saw the film and read his autobiography "Long Time Gone".
A talented musician with more drama in his life than a daytime soap opera.

He co-wrote 'Long Time Gone' and the follow-up 'Since Then : How I Survived Everything And Lived To Tell About It' with comic screenwriter Carl Gottlieb.
