Let’s see if it actually happens this time!!! So many people have been attached and it never went anywhere. Also I’m kind of worried that it’s going to be REALLY watered down. If I’m correct the original was known for how un pc it was and I can see the remake being nothing more than a run of the mill superhero movie which is NOT AT ALL what the original is.

Toxie will be a dwarf? Well, that's inspired at least. I haven't seen anything Macon has directed, but he rocked in Blue Ruin.

They remade Mother’s Day. The original Mother's Day - 80' is one of the best early Troma films, even before Troma started becoming a cult name. The reboot is ok, but not really related to much regarding the original. More of the torture porn style millennial film-making. I was not a huge fan of the original Mother’s Day. Yes the remake has very little in common story wise, but the character names are the same and there’s lines taken from the original and Queenie was referenced. I found the remake overall way more enjoyable and Rebecca De Monay was SMOKING HOT in this!!! She’s always been really cute, but she looked really hot in this for some reason lol.
