WB will release its entire movie schedule for 2o21 on the same date as it hits theatres and HBO max. We all knew knew this day will be coming but a virus has speeded up things very fast, Even before Covid, studios were dumping movies onto Netflix they deemed "uncommercial" like annihilation, cloverfield Paradox and Extinction but to name but 3. I wont be returning anytime soon to a cinema , at all , thanks to my TV box where I can watch anything from The new mutants and Antebellum to The Shining or Star Wars in glorious HD. www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/warner-bros-smashes-box-office-windows-will-send-2021-slate-to-hbo-max-and-theaters

Honestly I don’t think theaters are actually ever gonna die. I think this is a very smart idea. Although I don’t see why WB is doing this in the end. We’re gonna have the vaccine in just a couple of months, but I guess the good thing is if I see the movie in theaters and I like it enough to watch it again, I can watch it on streaming!!!

This was a decision AT&T made in order to boost subscriptions for HBO Max.

I think people would be more open to the idea because there are people who love the big screen, but then there are people who may wanna see the movie, but just not in theaters. Just my opinion 🤷♂️

Considering HBO Max doesn't exist in my country, I'll still be going to the cinemas to watch a few of these films.
