VOTE FOR 2
This is not an obvious one for me, especially as a lot of these women just weren't around much. Nadia and Tamara are just too new to be in consideration for this, and Cady probably is too. Missy, meanwhile, we didn't see much of at all in her 10 months on the show and so doesn't deserve it for 2020. I feel similarly about Suzanne Rogers, who we haven't seen much. She did have Maggie's suicide attempt this year, but I didn't love how that played out.
Isabel Durant, I just don't think is doing a good job as Claire compared to Olivia Rose Keegan (who was on recurring status and so it will appear in that competition) I also just don't think Sal Stowers is very good. And I've complained a lot about Stacy Haiduk.
For me, it's between Lindsay Arnold, Kate Mansi and Emily O'Brien. Say what you will about Gwen, but I think Emily's doing a great job and brings a fun energy to the proceeding. Kate had all of Abby's mental illness stuff after being drugged and that was good. Marci's mainly been meh since Abby's return. Lindsay Arnold has had a LOT of material for a brand new actress, and I think she's done a pretty good job about it. Most newbies her age aren't tasked with as much as Lindsay has been.
I think I'll go with Lindsay and Emily, mainly because Kate has her accolades.
