So just a few nights ago I actually had a dream that there was a live action Zelda movie. If I remembered it felt very much like Jackson’s Lord Of The Rings trilogy it had that kind of lighting that he used in Lord of The Rings as well. I remembered Link talked as well. I can’t say who played him, but I remembered he looked like a Live Action Link.
I know this has been talked about a lot for years. I feel like he probably could have after coming off Lord Of The Rings, but not so much anymore. Wasn’t Mortal Engines pretty bad? Hopefully if they do make a Zelda movie maybe they’ll consider looking into Jackson.

Mortal Engines was lackluster but there were a few things I liked about it. Its main issue is that the script felt like a first draft. And the third act is steampunk Star Wars.

Haha I watched that on Netflix weeks ago and it was dogshit. Hugo Weaving did his best I'll give him that. Robert Sheeran was a pleasure to watch in it but apart from that it was shit I have to admit. The girl drinking piss water scene was just what the fuck?.

I was always curious about it. Is it worth watching if I’m bored? Yeah or just as background noise. It’s one of the best looking bombs I’ve seen in a while. And there’s an awesome looking cyborg-zombie-bounty hunter (voiced by Stephen Lang!) who seems like it should be the main villain but it’s not.

I would like to see Peter Jackson get completely away from epic storytelling. Filming the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy simultaneously was an ambitious enough project for one persons career. He was never able to turn off that ambition and its destroyed him. He followed the trilogy up with a massive King Kong remake that was way too ambitious for its own good (even though I adore the film), he got so carried away with the visuals of heaven and that really ridiculous shot of the killers death in Lovely Bones that he completely missed the point of the novel, and turned the Hobbit into a literal three-picture train wreck. I'm pleased to see he's taken a step back and is working on documentaries, and I'd like him to continue that trend, and get back in touch with being a storyteller.

I think so. Zelda has always basically been a video game version of Lord of the Rings anyways (fantasy setting, a young youth is the "chosen one", goes a long journey to fight a powerful evil).

Sure but I think it's more a Spielberg or Guillermo del Toro.
It's more emotional than Jackson routinely does.

At this point it's more likely Hollywood would rather make a Dark Souls movie.
