![](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71Z7WXjNkqL._AC_SL1480_.jpg) i was obsessed with this movie when it came out. Watched it twice in IMAX and many times on Blu ray. And that soundtrack man. I listened to it over and over. It is incredible. Listening to the soundtrack helped me feel better when I was feeling down and honestly just helped inspire me. ![](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogJy8Q9bHDo) overall, anyone knows its plot is nothing special but it's so aesthetically pleasing on an audio visual level. I also actually like Olivia Wilde in this. I'll take this over Avatar any day and give me the sequel please.

Wasn't it also one of the first movie in which they somehow digitally made younger an actor (Jeff bridges)?
Otherwise I liked it.

It's better than the first movie but that's not saying much. Michael Sheen is the best thing about it.

Never watched either one. I'd rather just watch "The Matrix"

I fucking hated that movie and I hated it even more due to the fact that it prompted Disney to try to pretend the original never existed.

I describe Tron Legacy as a movie beautiful movie to look, at that doesn't have much substance. I still recommend it as a movie watching experience and am very glad I got to see it in theatres, but I would also warn to check your higher expectations at the door. However, I would love to see another installment in this franchise. BEFORE Jeff Bridges is too old to do it justice, please.

The previous movie was heavily referenced. Even the son grew up. I don't mean literally within the movie itself, I mean every single fucking copy of the original was pulled from stores and made impossible to find, rendering it as rare as Song of the South. I remember there were copies of it going for like $700 on ebay.

Disney was really pushing hard for the Tron franchise to be the next big thing during the early 2010s.
