I bought it on dvd a few days ago. I thought buying it today would have been a total waste of money, but BOY WAS I WRONG!! I feel like this movie holds up really well today. The jokes are so funny!!! Yes they’re stupid, but they made me laugh. I always loved the “ZOLTAN” scene and the scene at the Chinese restaurant. Ashton made that scene work so well!!!
It’s not a movie that’s for everyone for sure, but It’s a fun movie if you’re looking for something fun to watch. Anyone else feel this way?

I saw it once many years ago although not necessarily by choice. But I'll give the movie credit for knowing it's dumb and not taking itself seriously. It helps in watching it and enjoying it if you do enjoy it.

It was a dumb fun movie and that’s exactly what I got.

I love it. An absolute riot from start to finish. That tattoo scene is hilarious. A movie that knows it's silly and simply has fun with it.
One of the funniest movies ever made, IMO.

They re did the tattoo scene in Scary movie 2. Had no idea they got it from Dude where’s my car, but yes the tattoo scene is hilarious. Honestly the movie is basically The Hangover, before the Hangover came out. I think Hangover owes a lot to Dude Where’s My Car.

I think Dude, Where's My Car made better use of the concept. The silliness of the main characters in Dude reminded me of Dumb and Dumber.

If Hangover was Dude Where’s My Car then Joker was Taxi Driver and King Of Comedy and Due Date was Planes, Trains And Automobiles. I’m starting to think that dude had no original ideas. Heck he made the movie adaption of Starsky and Hutch as well.

It's dumb fun that isn't trying to teach you anything. It's the same reason I love Con Air, although a totally different genre.

Some of its scenes are somewhat fun (AND THEN??) but I don't like either of the lead actors much which negatively impacted my overall liking of the whole film. I view it as Danny Leiner's dry run for his next project, Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle which is a much funnier film that even manages to insert a little commentary on racial identity and racism in general.

I didn’t even know the same director directed Harold and Kumar. I can definitely see it now though. Also I learned that the movie’s script was a rejected live action Beavis and Butthead movie script. Thank goodness that never came to be.

I can`t take anybody who uses the words holds up or outdated when it comes to talking about the quality of a movie.
I have not seen the movie, so i don`t know if its good, bad or just an ok movie.
