I have no plans to watch The Lion King remake.
That is the only example that comes to mind.

Those crappy live-action remakes of cartoon films I agree... I don't understand why these are being made, at all. What's wrong with watching Cartoons?... And award winning original cartoon films, as well... Which by the way, Why watch a remake, that probably won't be as good as the original, anyway? Seriously... If an original film is "Good" enough, that someone wants to remake it... Then shouldn't the original film be good enough, to "Watch" it? Maybe someone should remake "Die Hard" and add more Christmas elements to it... Then maybe people can actually have the "Christmas Movie" they've always wanted the original one to be. At least remaking that film, in that manner, would make more sense.

All I can think of are the Twilight sequels plus anything new by Illumination. I did see parts of the first Twilight and felt that was enough.

Just have John McClane in a Santa outfit saying βHo Ho Ho yippie Kai yayβ and Die Hard will be TOTALLY be more of a Christmas movie. I never understood how Die Hard honestly gets called a Christmas movie. The story has nothing to do with Christmas. I mean HOME ALONE is more of a Christmas movie than Die Hard is. Do you consider Harry Potter a Christmas movie because it has a scene revolving around Christmas?

I haven't watched any Fast and Furious films or Transformers films and don't have any plans to do so. Those are exactly the two examples that immediately popped up in my mind when I saw the thread title.

I won't watch any more live action Transformers films after disliking the first. I won't watch any Harry Potter movies after the third because they stylized the cinematography too much and treat Hermione as perfect. I don't have any interest in Die Hard movies after the third and the same with Mission Impossible movies.
