You do realize those are very minor factors when compared to better story, better pacing, better lead character and better character development right? All of which WW did better than MOS. MOS had better characters, better pacing and didn't lag towards the end like Wonder Woman did. You're entitled to your opinion of course, but critic ratings, audience scores, general reviews and even box office heavily disagree with you.

A scantily dressed glamorous supermodel in a Greek costume... Doesn't require rocket science as to why that might be a hit.

I'm acknowledging your opinion and pointing out that it's objectively wrong.

I've seen it...and it's nowhere near as good as the first one. It's passable for me. There are things that bothered me...and I may slip up and mention spoilers here...so just pass me over. First, there was very little 1984 in this movie. I'm still perplexed as to why they set the movie in that era if they weren't really going to portray that era. What I mean is...yeah they show Steve getting dressed in some 80's fashion and they show some teenage mall girls who look straight out of the 80's...but the rest of the movie might as well been in 2020. There really was no 80's vibe in the movie as compared to say...Stranger Things season 3...that show is living and breathing 80's nostalgia. This movie definitely missed that mark as far as I'm concerned. Another thing...the movie is waaaaay too long. I kept wanting the movie to speed up and get to something good. There are some really dull scenes in the film. I wanted the action that I saw in the trailer. No, it doesn't have to be packed with action but something to pick things up. Better editing is needed. The way they bring Steve back was just kind of flimsy. I won't say too much about that... but I will say I had hoped it really was Steve that was back, not him inhabiting some other dude's body. Then there is Cheetah...I have been looking forward to seeing her since the initial trailers. And it turns out...she's around for about 10 minutes total if that...then the movie ends. It was just disappointing. All in all, I did like the movie but it wasn't as fun as the first. I hope for better in the next installment.

Could one of you creative writers come up with a Faux DC-Fan review?

It's still better than anything Zack Snyder has ever done.
This was also the one time that Hans Zimmer wasn't garbage.

Remember that cringy scene in Justice League where Batman captures the cat burglar with the cartoony sack of jewels? That's what this entire movie felt like.

One of the best movies I've seen in the theater in the last 8 months.

Was it bland at all? For those here that have seen it?

Could one of you creative writers come up with a Faux DC-Fan review? It's times like these I wish he'd make a guest appearance...just to defend WW84 for featuring a couple of his MCU grievances - not keeping a character dead and a poorly executed CGI fight sequence. Actually just to see him declare the whole cluster fuck as one of the best CBMs ever. Then again, he'd probably say it's all explained in Clash Of The Titans

I really thought this was going to be good (whoever edited that first trailer deserves an award) but it's so so bad. And it feels like it's four hours long.
I know everyone loves Pedro (I do too!) but he's terrible in it. Must have been down to the direction. Wiig was good but her character arc is so drawn out it's hard to care about her by the end.
It's given me a new appreciation for Captain Marvel.

It was the best cbm I saw this year. But since the only other one was the awful Harley Quinn movie, that's not saying much. WW84 has some cool sequences, and good performances. But the script is lacking, and it feels clunky at times. 5/10.

For those who have watched it? I'm getting very divisive reviews. I don't know how else to describe it but that its a bad movie that is still somehow incredibly enjoyable. Pedro Pascals performance is way over the top, and fun as hell. Steve Trevors character is completely superfluous, but its cool to see Chris Pine back and ham it up with 80's gags. Barbara Minverva/Cheetah is predictable as all get out, but its cool to Kristen Wiig do something different and cool. And of course Gal Gadot is still perfect as Wonder Woman. Its a fun mess of a movie. All the people that are poo pooing this movie are unfairly comparing it to other movies and to part 1. Part 1 is clearly the superior film with no tonal issues. This one has tonal and pacing issues and has quite a bit of corniness throughout. But I have to say, that I still had so much fun watching it that I have to recommend it. I would say, just watch it and enjoy it for what it is.

Spoilery: You could cut out 30 minutes to make it leaner and punchier. The effects on Cheetah were bad Why not just bring (Steve) back straight on(?) They way you don't have to deal with the moral ambiguity. I think it should've been WW to fight for and ultimately rescend her wish not Steve talking her into it. Would've been better if he wanted to stay and she had to make the decision. the movie was pretty balanced between comedy/drama. The action was good, but with the length of the movie their were some droughts in the middle were some good editing could've made the action beats better timed. The movie looks good scope scale and cinematography was great. Well except the WW vs Cheetah scene. I like that the final resolution wasn't through typical superhero means. It wasn't done by beating the bad guy into submission but by a plea to all peoples to listen to their better angels. I know I said that it was overly long but the one thing I would've done was added the cameo in the credits scene into the movie. Maybe not Linda doing exactly what she did, but have her be a turning point in the movie instead of an after thought. So in the end was the movie bad? No. It's not great though. It's north of mediocre. Agree
