Don't you agree? I LOVED the last episode when Chuck finally--FINALLY--got his comeuppance. (I think he was more unlikable than Skylar from Breaking Bad. Didn't think that was even possible, lol.) Anyway, the pace seems to have picked up significantly this season in comparison to the first two. Perhaps the writers were listening to the viewers' feedback? I am just excited to see this show coming into its own. Anyone else believe this season is better than the previous ones?

Yes I agree, it's definitely getting better. Last season was decidedly lackluster, but I do believe it is now finally hitting it's stride. And after a few interesting "build up" episodes, things are now starting to fall into place. Just hope it stays on track.

Definitely. Probably my favourite episode so far, which is quite funny considering up until now, Mike was my favourite part of the series, and he didn't appear for the first time. How good was performance from the guy who plays Chuck? His rant was awesome.

I think Better Call Saul has been fantastic from the beginning.
I haven't even seen Breaking Bad.

During the hearing, Chuck found out that he had a cell phone battery in his pocket and freaked out. However, the battery was not connected to anything. No current was flowing, so was it really producing any kind of electromagnetism? Naturally. one thought is that Chuck's condition is all in his head.

Hell yes. This conflict with Chuck is interesting. And the introduction to Gus and the old BB cast is great to see.

Spoiler alert about the latest episode.. How did the large African-American guy (forgot his name right now) manage to slip that phone battery with his fat fingers into Chuck's breast pocket without him noticing?

I don't see any major swings personally in my overall enjoyment of it even though, obviously, some episodes are more enjoyable than others. it's a solid show overall but nothing amazing like Breaking Bad. i would say given what we have seen so far the show is no higher than a 7/10 overall (but that still puts it easily ahead of the vast majority of shows out there). in comparison... Breaking Bad is a straight up 10/10. but... Breaking Bad never hit greatness til Season 3 and later into it at that. but what i think partially amps up Better Call Saul is it's tied to Breaking Bad which is within my Top 2 TV shows (the other being The Sopranos) where as everything else is a distant 3rd to those two shows. but anyways, it's nice to see the Mike storyline play out and the whole Saul/Chuck drama is nice etc. as a side bonus... i like Rhea Seehorn (Kim Wexler character) as she's definitely more attractive than most other actresses quite easily ; but her hotness aside... she's a nice addition to the show itself and is a nice assistance to Saul etc.

Rewatch season 1 with Walter meeting Tuco for the first time

@april221968 Don't get me wrong.... ill be a bit more clear, seasons 1/2 are still strong (probably about a 8/10 if i had to put a number on em off the top of my head), as they easily top the vast majority of shows out there, but they just ain't the height of the show which is definitely Season 3 (straight up 10/10, especially later into the season) for me especially the last episode of Season 3 which is Full Measure as it's a rare feat for a show(or movie) to get my heart rate elevated etc but that did it quite well and that's basically not happened since i first seen it back when it aired in June 2010 as i clearly remember being tired laying down in bed while watching it but by the end of it i was wide awake craving more with that cliff hanger and what was even worse is i had to wait a full year and a month before Season 4 started back up but basically Season's 3 on forward are basically 10/10 range, maybe 9/10's at the lowest, with Season's 1/2 being more in the 8/10 range pretty much. on a side note... if you were around the Breaking Bad forums on the IMDb site back in Season 3/4 you can see it's once Season 4 aired that the kids took over and ruined those forums as during Season 3 it was still largely a solid place to be at but once Season 4 aired the show seemed like it became TOO popular and the kids with their spam rolled in and ruined those forums. NOTE: when i started watching the show as they aired it was the start of Season 3 as i got a hold of Season's 1/2 and watched them before Season 3 aired. but boy am i glad i gave the show a chance as shows of that quality are nearly non-existent. p.s. i plan on re-watching Breaking Bad in it's entirety either sometime before this year is finished or definitely no later than 2018. but my gut feeling says it might be a bit more likely to drop off vs The Sopranos (both are currently tied for my #1 TV show ever as everything else is a distant 3rd to those two shows for me) as i feel The Sopranos is more stable in my interest throughout the series where as Breaking Bad is great in bursts but has more weaker stretches to. basically BB has higher highs but lower lows than The Sopranos. but don't get me wrong though, as a 10/10 score is very difficult to get from me simply because i have seen more than 2,100+ movies and only ten movies managed to get a 10/10 from me. even 9/10's are only another 18 movies and so on. to state the obvious... i rate movies etc based on my all around enjoyment of them. so basically if a movie/show is as enjoyable as they can be then it gets a 10/10 and scales back from there.
