So yeah, I haven't experienced that in my career, I'm scared of that, if it does happen one day. So, you see, in the writing process, that's sort of where I bring in my sensibility, that's a huge part of it. And creating situations that will allow certain kind of cinematic language to come in... that is something that I've learned from my last three films. I think what Marvel has been incredible, that Kevin [Feige] and Nate [Moore] and the whole team, they knew from the moment I pitched the film I really wanted to, you know, the scope and the scale, at the same time, the intimacy, they knew I wanted both. And they have been so incredible holding my hand through the entire process of allowing me to go as far as possible and as small as possible, and how that fit into the whole MCU. It's been a pretty incredible process."

This can either turn out to be a good thing or a bad thing. Indeed. I'm a little surprised we hadn't heard much in the way of marketing. Just leaked photos and toy merchandise. Granted it comes out in November but a teaser would be nice.

This can either turn out to be a good thing or a bad thing. looks like a bad thing Yeah... as much as people complain about MCU movies being cookie cutter formulaic movies, you have to admit that no other franchise have been able to launch as many successful movies as they had... and that's probably because the MCU formula actually works. So allowing their directors more leeway into the shows is probably not a good thing, since that's what most other franchises do and none of them can even get near the success of the MCU. That probably explains why the Disney+ shows are so inconsistent. They have such different flavors from each other and are wildly inconsistent with the rest of the MCU. Black Widow also felt weird and it seems especially Eternals.
