It should be added that in similar training exercises the company has also used phrases associated with other, political, movements known to have radical wings. I don't know however whether they trialled such messages as 'Abortion is murder!' or 'God hates fags!' etc as well, which would be all of a piece.

Not too sure about the email case as there aren't enough details, but the other two cases seem like fair decisions by the judges in question. It probably is upsetting for a Muslim to see that term being connected to terrorism but sadly it's not completely ridiculous to do so and the company doesn't seem to singling Muslims out as their example terrorists. The bracelet thing is just plain nasty though - spreading rumours that someone is a rapist in the workplace is sick.

Silly analogy - I don't think this is "all of a piece" in the slightest. ‘Allahu Akbar’ is a common Islamic expression, used by all Muslims and spoken five times a day in the call to prayer. 'Abortion is murder!' and 'God hates fags!' are expressions used by extremist fringe groups and I doubt most Christians would give a toss if these were used. A message such as 'Our Father' or 'I believe in one God' would be a better example. I actually feel some sympathy for Anis Ali in this instance.

This is true, but one could still imagine a fervent Christian anti-abortionist bringing a similar case before the courts if this one had succeeded.
