Wow Ahmed is immense, Raci heartbreaking, Cooke somber, very solid film about addiction, regret, toxicity as well as a form of detachment to ones priorities and needs as well.

Ahmed deserves the Best Actor. The movie has such a great ending. Beautiful. I think the pacing is a bit elongated in stretches but I'd recommend to anyone.

I found the movie flat but Ahmed is incredible and I'm pulling for him to snatch that win (I'm sure he'll at least be nominated). I've liked him since Nightcrawler and seeing him work in person on Jason Bourne.

I've liked him since Nightcrawler and seeing him work in person on Jason Bourne. I am legitimately wondering if he might have a left field choice for best actor myself, Boseman and Hopkins seem more likely, and Lindos picking up steam, but we also have Ahmed getting raves and he has won before when it was out of left field so why not as well.

I found it interesting within the way they hint at both Lou and Ruben needing music as a means of staying on the right track as well, basically hinting without any music, their dynamic may not survive at all.
