There are hundreds that led me to my decision, but here’s some of my favorites off the top of my head.

2000 - 2009

The Last King of Scotland
Walk the Line
The Motorcycle Diaries
Master and Commander

Both were good but I'll go with the 2010s. It was a great decade for animation, horror and superhero movies. It also gave us gems such as:
Edge of Tomorrow
Whiplash
Rise of the Planet of the Apes
and many more.

It's like choosing between sulfuric acid and toxic waste.
I guess 2000-2009 was more coherent-less remakes one after the other--they wouldnt have thought to do three different Batman films at the same time--I think each decade gets worse as it becomes more corporate/incompetent.
Films like THE SCORE were pretty good but overall it's a bad decade, just not as horrible as 2010 onward.

Both are about equal in quality to me, although 2000-2009 has the more nostalgic movies to me, so out of personal bias, I'd say that.9

2000-2009. The latter decade is full of creativly bankrupt movies recycling the same ideas with endless remakes and sequels.
