Discuss. One of my fav bands ever, maybe my #2 behind Beck ahead of Radiohead. Sure their singles were mostly anthem rock. So what, they're awesome! Heathen Chemistry btw is my fav album of theirs, nice range on there.

Great first album, OK after that.
Saw them a few times at smaller venues and low on festival bills and they were good live. Saw them later at a larger venue in Paris and it was boring as hell. The idea of seeing them (or any band) at a Knebworth type gig was totally unappealing

Of course, I jumped on the Oasis bandwagon when "Wonderwall" was released as a single. I picked up the CD "What's The Story, Morning Glory?". I also really enjoy the song "Some Might Say".
Another amusing story about Oasis (if I may).
My mother, brother, my brother's girlfriend and I were watching TV at our house. Brother then said that he and girlfriend had to go work on math homework. They were in the living room, and my brother broke out his guitar. We could hear his amusing rendition of "Don't Look Back In Anger" from the TV room.
Meanwhie, I'm howling with laughter. Then, my mother shouts out:
THAT DOESN'T SOUND LIKE MATH!

They have what, 7 albums? Of which, you can dispense with the final 4 and condense the first three down into 1.5 or 2 great albums.

One great album, one very good album then straight downhill. Lot more than most bands manage though.

Would anyone be interested in compiling a top 10 or top 15 song list by them? Have not heard a lot of their stuff.

Joker's Wilde Nice. My story is a local one, Toronto. I was at Virgin Fest when Noel got attacked. Back in the sea of ppl we thought it was Liam because Noel was the first back out on stage to continue. I guess that's my Oasis fate - one of their most notoriously memorable performances.

Champagne Supernova 2. D'You Know What I Mean 3. The Hindu Times 4. Live Forever 5. Cast No Shadow 6. Falling Down 7. Little By Little 8. I Hope, I Think, I know 9. Songbird 10.Some Might Say
