Vanilla Ice, one of the coolest entertainers of all time.

Ice-T made some solid action thrillers back in the day, even a few of his albums were not all that bad either. New Jack City (1991), Ricochet (1992), Trespass (1992), Surviving the Game (1994) and Tank Girl (1995) were all great fun films.
Ice Cube I have never been a fan of, nor his music or his acting. Vanilla, well, I was too young to remember his heyday, but the cameo in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Secret of the Ooze (1991) makes me feel nostalgic like hell, and also Vannila Ice gave us later on, the hilarious Jim Carrey - In Living Color parody. Also, Vanilla sure had some cool moves back then, with his dancing style.

Vanilla Ice for the win. People ridicule it now, but To the Extreme was a massive seller and just about every one of the tracks is great. I saw him in concert later on and he's still a great entertainer. Ice Cube would be a close second, his film appearances are great, especially the Jump Street films.

I like John Mulaney's Ice T more than Ice T's Ice T. I don't like Vanilla Ice at all, Queen stealing bitch. And he was tied for #1? Cube is the better rapper, the better actor, and in the better movies.

Ice Cube is more versatile as an actor (not giving him an Oscar, it's a low bar here). As a rapper it's very close for me. I'll go with Cube's discography overall, even if I'm more likely to listen to an Ice-T song at any given time.

Ice Cube, mostly by default.
I have very little to go off of for Vanilla Ice. I am only familiar with one of his songs and it isn't really to my liking and his cameo in TMNT 2 is the worst scene in the movie. I am actually old enough to remember when he was very popular, I just never payed much attention to him or cared.
Ice-T I am familiar with his acting career, both movies and Law and Order: SVU. I like him well enough in that regard, but I have never listened to much of his music.
Ice Cube I am the most familiar with. I like some of his songs and he has a charismatic screen presence and is likable enough in the movies I have seen him in. He isn't very talented as a dramatic actor (with the exception of Boyz n the Hood), but he is usually good in comedic roles.
I was more a Tupac and Snoop Dog fan when it came to 1980s/1990s rap, but I much prefer rock music to rap. I am only passingly familiar with most rap music and I don't pay much attention to the music scene in general. For example, I have never been to a concert and have never had any interest in attending a concert.
