Like most others I was outraged when that Oriental dumped Claudio, the EPL manager of the year, etc. How ungrateful. So Leicester were languishing in the relegation zone at the time, no worries Tinkerman would wave his magic wand, etc...... He didn't, the Bard took over and showed that the Ranieri affair was Much Ado about Nothing. Vardy is scoring again, Mahrez is dazzling opposition defenders and all is well, maybe There is still a whiff of Et tu Brutus about Claudio's demise and in spite of their gallant performances in the CL, they have lost a lot of the affection that they gained last season. The decision has been vindicated by their current 9th place in the table, so WTF ?, but...

I thought the people criticising it were fucking idiots, I'm pretty sure I said so at the time. People who have never met or worked for Ranieri droned on about what a nice man he was - if he's such a nice man why don't the players want to play for him? Why do people who have worked for him fucking hate him? Why does he get sacked from every job for being shit?
Leicester won the Premier League despite him.
People always give club execs shit for sacking managers too early or making the wrong appointments, when they do one that's correct despite half the country crying about it they deserve the utmost credit and a large number of grovelling apologies.
