I'll go back and read to see if this was mentioned yet, but are we gonna talk about the amazing game Mahomes just had?
I mean, it honestly looks terrible numbers wise, but watching the replays it is undeniable that Mahomes was absolutely magical out there.
The Andy Reid's son thing, I feel, played a huge part.
The injuries to the KC O-line made the Bucs front 4 look like the 2007 Giants. Go back and watch that game. Brady had to do so much just to get the measly 17 points. But Mahomes tonight was even more magical, but his teammates consistently fucked up at the worst possible times.

Brady's first Super Bowl without Belichick, and he finally throws a first qtr TD and wins a laugher. This is what happens when you give Tom Brady weapons and a real defense. Any word from Belichick? Any word from jimanchower? Any word from Travis Kelce on whether he still believes he's a better TE than Gronk? Hey, Peyton was there tonight. He's 2-2 in Super Bowls for his career. Tom Brady in 3-1 in Super Bowls since Peyton retired! Brady has now gone through Mahomes twice en route to a title. He went through Brees, Rodgers and Mahomes this year. Somebody find this guy some new peers, please. I'm starting to wonder if Rey isn't really Giselle Bundchen. If he ain't, he definitely seems to be in love with Tom. Is this Giselle? Sorry Brady beat your team's ass. Maybe you can sue the league over it, dipshit.

One more thing that I want to say - many people said the NFL could never play a full season, that their season would be cancelled, that they would never finish on time etc, well guess what, the NFL did play every game and played the Super Bowl as expected, and that is terrific - awesome job by everyone involved in accomplishing this season amidst the turmoil of a pandemic. And thank you to everyone who participated in my football play by play threads - I tremendously enjoy posting each week and discussing each game with all of you, you are all great, and it’s always great to do it each year. This is an awesome community we have and I appreciate every one of you, it was a tumultuous year for all of us, and this is always a great place to come and discuss everything. So I’m not one to usually make posts like this, but I greatly appreciate everyone on here. I never doubted it that the NFL would pull through. But you know my stance on COVID19. Nonetheless, the NFL did a great job. Every single games was played. Also thanks to you for the recaps and summaries of every week of the season.

Tyreek Hill: "Help is on the way."
It was. Tampa outscored them 41-9 since.

So no one wants to talk about how amazing Patty Mahomes was last night?
Watch the replays! Multiple times; I have. He had a Herculean effort just to put up 9 points. The TB front 4 looked like the 2007 Giants. The defense was gang tackling everyone. Every throw Mahomes had 2 guys right by him, and the person he was throwing it to seemed to have 1-2 people on him and another 1-3 people running towards him.
This is my favorite game ever. They only scored 9 points, but it was spectacular. Just about every play was an award winning defensive play, and most of those plays had Patty doing something insane, and multiple of those plays had Patty's teammates bungling the effort.
He was like Shoeless Joe out there knowing 8 other guys were actively trying to lose the game. We should have a watch party soon and really analyze every play!

Where are all the puff pieces about how Arians is a defensive genius? Apparently shutting down Jared Goff cemented Belichick's legacy, how about keeping Mahomes and the Chiefs at single digits and out of the end zone?!

I want to see Brady go to yet another team and win the Super Bowl there. Like a super-deluxe ageless Jim Plunkett going from team to team for one year and just winning Super Bowls.
