Lulz. Literally nobody cares. You'd think that so many failed boycotts (by people who decry "cancel culture" no less) would teach these people that they are worthless losers

You'd think that so many failed boycotts (by people who decry "cancel culture" no less) would teach these people that they are worthless losers Well the "failed" "boycotts" resulted in the last 3 SW movies actually costing the company money at the box office at the end of the day, huge decreases in merchandise sales, and oh yeah the company having to openly pull back on the movies and shows outside of The Mandalorian in order to regroup and re-assess, yeah real failures. This is not to say pay them too much attention but you know just take your head out your arse for 5 seconds and realise the prior fan backlash in fact DID hurt the company and their brand, which they have had to work hard for the last 2 years to come back from properly to where they were in a position to boldly announce their new slate of projects.

Disney chose the right time to be woke fools. Disney+ Star was released yesterday. It’s contains adult content. And even though it’s only a small amount of content so far, it seems to have more older films than Netflix does. I was watching Robert Altman’s MASH. It also has most of the Alien series.
So some may boycott but many more will sign up.

I don't agree with Gina Carano's firing, but I always find boycotts really silly. No matter what, boycotts just always tend to make me buy the product of whatever is being boycotted.

Boycotts only work when they (in some way) reflect the taste/opinions of a large demographic. The “TLJ backlash” boycott worked. Fans of the movie and some Disney/LucasFilm people implied the boycott was just a handful of bigoted social media trolls. But it was a reflection of a very polarized audience. The Rotten Tomatoes data told them that. But some people tried to claim that data was manipulated. It wasn’t.
Whatever boycotts happen for whatever reasons (over The Mandalorian), it probably won’t have that much success because the show is widely approved by audiences and critics.

The only way I could see it going downhill is if Favreau was canned tor quit for some reason. If Favreau and Filoni are still in charge of the show, they'll still make a good product despite the setback.

How soon before Disney censors its adult content too , they covered up girl parts in Splash while showing off nude Jackman in Xmen, wrong message to be ashamed of one's bodies

Boycotts work IF enough people boycott. Boycotting Captain Marvel didn't work because not enough people did it. But the backlash from the Star Wars movie was big enough to be felt by the company and they're not quite in the same position as Marvel to competed ignore news of a boycott.
