I'm not a huge fan of either, I would actually go with Blazing Saddles or Robin Hood: Men in Tights. I guess out of the two I'd pull for Young Frankenstein.

I prefer Blazing Saddles to either, but Young Frankenstein wins over Spaceballs by a country mile.

I prefer Spaceballs. It's not as high brow but Young Frankenstein wasn't my kind of humor.

Mel Brook's humour is hit and miss for me. Spaceballs hit more often than Young Frankenstein. The parody of Transformers caught me completely unawares.
