I've heard about half of those before: The Crooked Forest of Poland Humming in Taos, New Mexico Marfa Lights in Texas The Nazca Lines in Peru Bermuda Triangle With the exception of the Bermuda Triangle, I think most of the ones I knew about, have some reasonable theories that could explain them... I don't think they have be caused by the supernatural, however, these theories have yet to be proven true, so, who knows what is really going on there. As for the Bermuda Triangle, there are some scientifically based theories that have been suggested that could explain most of the disappearances, but there are a few cases where those theories don't come close to explaining them... There are some other places on Earth, where ships and planes, and people disappear for no real good reason too. Contrary to popular belief, the Earth is really quite mysterious and we really don't know as much about it as we think we do. There is nothing wrong about being skeptical and seeking proof, but we should examine each case, one on one, and keep an open mind to the possibility that there may be some things that we just can't explain yet, and maybe not for a very long time. There are many other mysterious places out there, that should have been on the list too... I think the reason why they may not have been, is because they are not well known... People who are interested in them should watch shows like "In Search Of" with Leonard Nimoy, "Unsolved Mysteries" with Robert Stack, and the current show: "The Unexplained" with William Shatner... They do a good job of telling the facts, while letting the viewer decide on what to believe. Just heard about "The Crooked Forest of Poland" on the "The Unexplained"... Ever hear about the Catatumbo Lightning Phenomenon in Venezuela? I didn't until recently... It's the lightning storm capitol of the world... " It originates from a mass of storm clouds at an altitude of more than 1 km, and occurs during 140 to 160 nights a year, 10 hours per day, and up to 280 times per hour." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catatumbo_lightning

Basically a few disappearances in area know for it's tropical cyclones and people extrapolated that there is something unique to region. Flight 19 might be the strangest case as it envolved multiple airplanes including one that was sent later to search and rescue.

Sam Raimi was supposed to make a movie about the Bermuda Triangle. Not sure if that’s still happening.

Scott Derrickson (Doctor Strange; Sinister) is attached to direct it now. Ryan Reynolds was supposed to star but now it's Chris Evans. This was the synopsis they shared when Raimi was attached.
"...When a massive submarine carrying nuclear weapons goes missing in the Bermuda Triangle, Commander Vogel enlists the help of Dr. Fisk (Likely Reynolds) a theoretical physicist, who while using his grandfather’s research opens a wormhole to reveal a mysterious island that is inhabited by anything lost in the triangle including Sharks, Vikings, and Nazis, in the hopes of finding the nuclear weapons."

sounds like something on SYFY channel. Or some kind of '70/'80s B-movie. Either way, I'm in.
