How would you rate the series as a whole now that it’s over?
I’ve Never Seen It (because I don’t have DisneyFlix). But the spoilers don’t sound all that good. It seems once the sitcom gimmick was removed it became kind of generic? At least that seems to be a common complaint. A unique surreal concept driven show that devolved into CGI spectacle by the finale? Or a brilliant and misunderstood masterpiece?
What say you?

Anyone who subscribes to Disney+ needs shooting with balls of their own shit.

In the beginning I would have given it an 8, maybe even a 9 due to the high caliber of acting. But I was let down enough by the finale that I'm dropping my score to 7. That and the fact that not a lot of action actually happened throughout the season. It was a lot of build up but not enough payoff. Still a very solid and entertaining show though.

7/10. It's good, but at the end of the day it is an MCU commercial and a retcon device. The villains are generic and one note and the ending leaves a lot to be desired.

Was thinking of an 8 but I'll give it a 7. I don't expect there to be much MCU lore revealed out of it, though at the same time I kind of did. It's cute though and I really enjoyed the two leads.

As a whole, 8.5/10. The last couple of episodes were weak to me, so I knocked a little off for that.

I wasn’t that keen at first (bit too gimmicky plus not funny) and the biff bang battle was predictable (after all, it is part of the MCU) but I ended up enjoying it and even got a bit emotional at the end.
And it featured the best use of an ice cream van since Assault on Precinct 13.

That’s a pretty low score. Why didn’t you like it?

That’s a pretty low score. Why didn’t you like it? Ridiculously low score. Even if someone didn't like the show, there's no way a show like that deserves a 4/10.

I'd give it a 4/10 and I'm a huge Marvel fan. It had its moments but was overall pretty stale. To be fair, I wasn't interested in the concept to begin with, I haven't watched a sitcom since the mid 90s. I think the last sitcom episode I watched (either live or as a rerun) was the Seinfeld finale, and even then I hadn't watched the show in a while before it ended. Sitcoms don't do anything for me, so a show about sitcoms was never going to move the needle much. As I said, it had some great character moments here and there, but it isn't anything I'd ever watch again. 90% of it was winking to the audience, red herrings, and filler. 4/10 is the low end of 'average' for me, and it only gets there due to some of Vision's brilliant dialog, the touching finale and of course the name/costume reveal in the final episode. It was a tough watch, it's in the bottom tier of MCU material for me.

I give it an 8/10. The sitcom recreations were fun and nearly spot on, and the build-up of mystery was well done. Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, and Kathryn Hahn gave fabulous performances, and I liked they used the series to deal with the topic of grief given the fallout of events from Avengers: Endgame. The finale was good, but upon reflection, it may have been a tad rushed. There were so many red herrings that hinted at the multiverse, but ultimately, I'm glad they advanced Wanda's character arc so she could be a crucial player in Phase 4.

It was a tough watch, it's in the bottom tier of MCU material for me. Parodying sitcoms has been done to death, to the point it's even been done in superhero shows before (Justice League Unlimited). So even as someone who likes sitcoms, the gags and concept felt stale. Though it was still preferable to watching the dull agents on the outside of Pleasantville. I had pretty much lost interest after the Agnes reveal and it took me a couple of weeks to finish the last two episodes, but when I did, I'd finally felt some emotions other than indifference...and not very good ones. The show made me actively hate its lead, and having Agent First Blood wave off her crimes and even aggrandize Wanda as Wanda flees any consequences (again) really left a bad taste in my mouth. Consequently, I wasn't too moved by the finale or her "sacrifice", especially knowing the whole show had all been an elaborate set-up to resurrect Vision anyway. Don't get me started on Quicksilver. So yeah, I probably disliked the show quite a bit more than you. I gave it a 4 out of a pure attempt at objectivity. There are three worse ratings I could have given it, so I find it funny Skaather is calling my rating "ridiculous". A 4/10 is bordering on the middle. Why not go after the 9s and 10s, was Wandavision as good as The Wire?

That’s a pretty low score. Why didn’t you like it? His favourite Quicksilver turned out to be nothing more than a sex joke and you have to ask him why?
