There are many relatively well known Soviet propaganda cartoons like Shooting Range where people fight for their lives in Capitalism gone awry and The Millionaire where a bulldog becomes rich when a rich person dies and leaves all their assets to their dog in their will. I'm starting this thread because I found another old cartoon, unfortunately without English subtitles that I mentioned in one post a long time ago. It's a God of the Gaps sort of story about what happens to the heavens when people make airplanes and take to the skies.
I hope that somebody finds this amusing considering the demise of the Soviet Union and/or shares another propaganda cartoon that they like.

I was looking for an excuse to post this pre-WW2 piece from Japan Interesting short, predictably sloppy for a cartoon of that era. It feels like they didn't know how to meld the message with the fun loving characters. It is fairly similar in its own way to the Disney cartoon Flowers and Trees. It's just as notable that it's not much different in content from Momotaro's Divine Sea Warriors from the 40's. Sadly, today anime has its own cliches like giant piloted humanoid robots and slice of life tv series with same face characters. At least there's much unique work even if it's outnumbered by the generic content and there's also more than one type of generic content to watch as well.
