Of the rumoured names Ana De Armas is my favourite. She's talented, charming and was the absolute highlight of No Time To Die. I could definitely see her as a stage magician superhero.

Ana is also my top pick of those 3 names mentioned, though Phoebe fits Zatanna most in terms of pure physical looks. Vikander is a talented actress in specific roles but she's just not blockbuster material.

Vikander is a talented actress in specific roles but she's just not blockbuster material. Tonks has the look but I'm not really familiar with her and most of her work seems to be on TV. De Armas is more of a movie star than the other 2 and I'd have much more faith in her ability to carry the film, especially if her Marilyn Monroe lands. It's also struck me as ironic that Olivia Wilde is directing as she could also have been a good fir for Zatanna.

www.cbr.com/dua-lipa-rumor-star-zatanna-dceu-movie/ So as far as I can tell there's a rumour that Dua Lipa is in talks for a DC role and rumour has it that role is Zatanna. Basically we're in rumours about rumors territory. I'm not keen. Call me old fashioned but I prefer roles like this to go to actors and not pop stars.

My wife has a huge crush on Dua Lipa so she'd be thrilled if Dua actually gets the part. But Dua is no actress. She certainly can look the part but I'd really prefer someone with proven acting chops here. |

I guess if a former model with no acting training like Gal Gadot can pull off Wonder Woman, a top-tier pop star like Dua Lipa has a shot. At least she's used to performing in front of people and cameras.

Wow. I don't want to live in a world where the only DC movies are Black Adam sequels. What kind of hell is this? Warner Brothers really doesn't seem to know what to do with DC and they seem like they're trying to purge it... I wouldn't be surprised if we see it rebooted in a year or two.
