Love The Terminator, but the visual effects show their age and budget.
But hey, they could be worse.

Not a movie but a limited series and not a classic (yet, wait a few years) but The Queen's Gambit which I adore has one jarring scene obviously there only for the Male Gaze. Completely out of character for the rest of the drama. I should know because I'm a male and I was gazing. I'm talking about when Beth (Anya Taylor-Joy), drunk, stoned, and scantly clad does a provocative dance to Shocking Blue's 1969 #1 hit "Venus." Just to prove it, here it is for all you males to gaze upon.

A misstep in On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969): James Bond reading an issue of Playboy and then stealing the centerfold.
James Bond doesn't read Playboy. He has no need to; he lives it. And stealing the centerfold? Ugh!

In Robocop the part where Dick Jones gets killed looks really bad, why did his arms suddenly grow ten feet long? Yeah it is such an awful model.
Some people might argue "Well you have to consider then technical limitations at the time, etc" but I don't buy that excuse. Die Hard came out only a year later and the Hans Gruber death scene looks WAY better:

Regarding Superman, the original plan was to have the first film end on a cliffhanger with the villains heading to Earth. The time reversal was meant for the ending of the second film.

Tony Montana dying in Scarface, I know, I know, he wasn't the hero, he wasn't a good guy, etc., I know it had to happen, still don't like it.

The Big Lebowski -- the dream sequences. I usually skip past them.

Inglorious Basterds, the scalping thing. Totally unnecessary. I know, I know, it´s a Tarantino movie. Yeah I never cared for that either. Its gross and usually I like gross.

In Ghostbusters, the "dog" chasing Rick Moranis into Central Park looks completely fake now.

The ending of Scott Pilgrim. It always bothered me that Scott ended up with Ramona. I mean don’t get me wrong if I were in his shoes I’d really want Ramona too, but Ramona was TOO GOOD for Scott. Scott is just way too dorky and in real life would be WAY OUT OF HER LEAGUE!! I don’t care that Scott had to fight all of her evil exes to get her to go out with him.
Knives was a way better fit and it always bothered me that Knives was just ok to let Scott go with Ramona. Knives really loved Scott and should have stayed with her. There’s an alternate ending where he actually ends up with Knives in the end, but then it sucks even more for Ramona.

Jack could have fit on the door along with Rose. Door would've been at water level... the 2 of them were already drenched in north Atlantic ice water during the ship's dive. They might've survived together for about 25 minutes tops, but freeze together to the eventual frozen door. I think that's what gets overlooked about this - both of them were already drenched, any waters allowed on their door would've finished them.

I just re-watched Kill Bill: Vol. 1. Great movie but I never really cared for the animated part.

Highlander (1986) is one of my all-time favorite movies. And I generally regard the European version as superior to the US theatrical cut. That said however, Fasil's back flips (4:24-4:27 and 4:39-4:43 in the clip below) seem pointless at best and strategically disadvantageous at worst. I agree with their deletion from the US version.
