The resemblance is uncanny.
A martial arts film begins with three men, one who has two young sons. The other two men attack and kill him, because one of those two lied about this father being a traitor.
When the other man discovers the real traitor is the one who tricked him into helping kill the father, he escapes with the two boys and separates them. They grow separately. The younger one becomes a rebellious young man who picks fights with the army of the big boss, who was the man who killed his father. His older brother, unknown to him, is incognito as a high ranking member of the evil man's army.
The two brothers are much like the two young main characters of Rise of Skywalker, and Luke is much like the man who was tricked.
Can anyone tell me the title of the martial arts film that it seems "Rise of Skywalker" paid tribute to?

I should have said "oriental martial arts" movie. No, the one I saw was a definite kung fu film, and more closely matched "Rise of Skywalker" in characters and plot.
