Have any of you liked any of their previous collaborations? Should they still keep on working together even though many people say otherwise?

I've seen "The Boss" and I liked it barely enough to say that I liked it, but it's definitely for McCarthy fans only.
If you've read the reviews for McCarthy's latest movie "Thunder Force", there seems to be a consensus that Melissa McCarthy needs to stop writing movies with and/or being directed by her husband Ben Falcone. Even though the two like working together, they're collaborations seem to be mediocre at best and don't have McCarthy being used to her full potential according to most people. But yet the two keep on working together. It seems like Falcone is only directing because he wants to work with his life and not necessarily because he wants to direct in addition to act. Falcone is a competent enough director, but there's nothing special or especially memorable about his directing. As for their scripts, they seem self-indulgent to an extent and may not have a firm grasp on comedy.

Thunder Force reviews that point how this collaboration needs to stop:
"Ben Falcone and Melissa McCarthy films will continue till morale improves, it seems."
"After Superintelligence, Tammy, Life of the Party and The Boss -- all directed by Falcone for his wife -- this is another hit-and-miss effort, not quite hitting as much as it misses."
"I like Melissa McCarthy, by the way, I just don't think she should work with her husband, which is a reasonable thing to ask."
"If this had been the introductory film wherein we were introduced to Ben Falcone as a director or Melissa McCarthy as a star, they wouldn't have gone on to make a string of additional feature length studio-backed films."
"McCarthy is a gifted actor, who manages to imbue these high-concept flights with a certain weary humanism. But she's definitely at her best in other projects."
"Someone needs to just tell her: while her intentions might be good, Melissa McCarthy must STOP making movies with her husband, Ben Falcone. Another embarrassment."
"Someone needs to stop Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone."
"Melissa McCarthy, we are begging you: please stop making movies with your husband."
"As someone who occasionally defends the McCarthy/Falcone cinematic universe ("Life of the Party" wasn't awful) it's remarkable how out of touch and woefully inept their latest venture is."
"Ben Falcone and Melissa McCarthy are content pumping out low-effort drivel and probably have about three sequels already planned. Someone, anyone help us (except the Thunder Force)"
