a crappy superhero film has one of the best superhero movie scores. I don't understand why John Powell doesn't get more work and is relegated to mostly mediocre animated movies while composers like Junkie XL and Lorne Balfe who's works consist mostly of droning noise are the ones getting most of the blockbuster work

First Class also has a fantastic score.
But yeah, X-Men 3 is well served in the music department.
