Filmmaker Richard Rush has died at the age of 91. He's one of my favourite directors, I'll miss him.
Thanks for the movies, Mr. Rush, and for all the great memories.
"Richard Rush is a terrific director and stunt man and I actually used part of the score from this film ('Thunder Alley', 1967) in the big car chase scene in my movie 'Death Proof'. It’s a real Sixties hard-driving piece of music with bongos and a syntar. That’s really cool."
- Quentin Tarantino
Susan Strasberg & Jack Nicholson in 'Psych-Out' (1968)
Valerie Harper, James Caan & Alan Arkin in 'Freebie And The Bean' (1974)
Peter O'Toole in 'The Stunt Man' (1980)
Brad Dourif in 'Color Of Night' (1994)

I've only seen The Stunt Man which was alright. Dick Rush is a great name, though.

Thank you, Richard Rush, for giving us Color of Night. It will forever have a place on my shelf next to Pieces and other delightfully WTF movies.
RIP
