Can you name any movies featuring two or more members of the Carradine family?
Or a television show, a play, a music session ... this family has worked together a lot over the years! Like the Barrymores, the Fondas and the Bridges, the family that plays together, stays together.
Thanks!

What first comes to mind is The Long Riders with brothers David, Keith, and Robert.

The Long Riders (1980) David, Keith, Robert
'The Long Riders' would be in my top 10 westerns of all time. Also featuring James Keach and Stacy Keach, Dennis Quaid and Randy Quaid, Christopher Guest and Nicholas Guest.

Monte Walsh (2003) - TVM Keith, Robert
I've not seen this television western but I'm guessing it's a remake of William Fraker's western 'Monte Walsh' (1970). This movie starred Lee Marvin, Jack Palance, and one of your favouite actresses, Mademoiselle Jeanne Moreau. Charles Bronson was considered for this project but I believe he was busy filming in Europe at the time.

John and David Carradine on the set of BOXCAR BERTHA (1972)
That would have been a great thrill for director Martin Scorsese having John Carradine on location as his idol growing up was filmmaker John Ford and Carradine was a linchpin of Ford's stock company.
Scorsese then cast David Carradine and Robert Carradine in 'Mean Streets' (1973).

Same family, different name:
Keith Carradine and his daughter, Martha Plimpton, both appeared in Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle.

Keith Carradine and Shelley Plimpton performed together in the musical 'Hair' on Broadway during its original run. Back then, Shelley Plimpton was part of filmmaker Jim McBride's stock company and she was also a poet and musician who perfomed in folk clubs. They still all meet up together as a family to see plays and appear to get along well.

This year I saw: THE BEST OF SEX AND VIOLENCE where John hosted a collection of sexploitation flick trailers. David and Keith made an appearance asking him for money. An episode of THE FALL GUY (guest starring Elvira) with John firing his staff- played by Keith, David, and Robert.

Can't find any pictures, but Alf Kjellin's violent western The McMasters 1970 had both David and Daddy John in the cast.

I never heard of this movie before. Another western with Jack Palance. I'll look out for it, thanks.

Watched Paul Bartel’s 1976 outlaw cross country road race film ‘Cannonball’ a couple weeks back. Featured David & Robert Carradine. I don’t remember them sharing any screen-time together. On the DVD there’s an interview with David Carradine. I cannot remember details, but he sounded really proud of Robert in the film.

Oh, cool. I need to get 'Cannonball' on dvd. David Carradine headlined the 'Death Race' series and Robert Carradine headlined 'Joyride' (1977), reasserting just how much these brothers enjoyed fast cars and the like. Conversely, Keith Carradine said he was always most comfortable astride a horse.

The television remake of MONTE WALSH is a beautiful, melancholy western, and, in it's own way, almost as good as the 1970 film.

The cinematic obscurity 'You And Me' (1975) was David Carradine's feature-length directorial debut and he roped in some friends to help out. I've not seen it myself, but I believe the cast includes Barbara Hershey, Bobbi Shaw and Gary Busey, as well as Keith Carradine and Robert Carradine. No matter where they were, these brothers always seemed willing to travel cross-country to help a brother out.

The animated feature 'Hair High' (2004) was directed by Bill Plympton and produced by Plymptoon Cartoons. It features voice work from David Carradine, Keith Carradine, Martha Plimpton and longtime family friend Beverly D'Angelo. Bill Plympton and Martha Plimpton traced their family trees to discover they are distant relatives.

David Carradine said rather frankly that his brother Keith Carradine was often looking skinny, hollow and gaunt like a wasted ghost. Action man David urged his hardened brother to pile on some extra muscle within the gymnasium but Keith preferred to keep travelleing and ended up running on empty. Eventually, both men realised they had to prop each other up when times were hard, yet they were tough enough to negotiate any kind of physical drama that came their way.
