Olivier did better as the Nazi as opposed to playing the Nazi hunter.

Both are good, but I think I like Boys From Brazil slightly better.

I agree Olivier's Nazi is more memorable than his Nazi hunter but I like the Boys From Brazil better.

Have to say, I do like them both, but The Boys from Brazil notches slightly higher than Marathon Man. Both good films.

Slight edge to Marathon Man, but both were good.

Well, they're different. Marathon Man is a masterful suspense thriller. The Boys From Brazil is so over-the-top that it is practically a comedy with Olivier and Peck trying to out-hambone each other.

Marathon Man
The Boys from Brazil is a movie that should be interesting, but isn't.

....by a country mile.
Boys From Brazil? Rubbish.

"Marathon Man" was probably a "better" film, but I found the ridiculous "The Boys From Brazil" to be the more entertaining of the two. I've never seen Gregory Peck camp it up before.
This scene always makes me laugh.

Well one features a god tier performance from Olivier which Olivier made his very own as well, and the others painfully average.

Is it safe?
The two scenes in movie history that send guaranteed shivers up my spine. Joe Pesci and his brother being beaten to death in Casino. The "ping, ping noise of the aluminum bats, zowie! And the drill scene in Marathon Man. The sound of that drill, "zeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee". Ow, ow, ow, o-w!

Marathon Man, just for the "Is it Safe" scene alone.
