I have not seen all the winners of the best movie at the academy awards.
But i highly doubt that those are the 3 best movies.

They'll have to wear that list for a few years now. Internets never forget.
Bashing films lower in their list as if they deserve public execution... for me, there are poor Oscar choices, yet no real poor Oscar films.

Good for them, as long as they understand their list is just as subjective as anyone else’s list. As for me, I’m not in the mood to watch all those winners anytime soon.

While I wouldn't had awarded it Best Picture, Shakespeare in Love is not that bad.

I like Crash, and it was my pick for Best Picture that year.

My opinions on the list...
Of the top five, Rebecca is the only one I haven't seen. IMO, Moonlight should be much lower while Godfather II should be either #1 or #2 with Godfather I. (Which belongs in which spot? Depends on which day you ask me.)
Some of the movies on the bottom half of the listt that I think deserve a lot more credit than they get here: The Deer Hunter, Crash, The Departed, Forrest Gump, American Beauty, Birdman. (There are a few more that I'd say should be higher, like Ghandi and Argo, but I don't feel as strongly about it as the ones I listed.)
Some on the top half that I think are given too much credit and should be lower: Chariots of Fire, Annie Hall, Titanic, In the Heat of the Night, the Shape of Water, Moonlight.
It should be noted that there are a bunch of movies on the list that I haven't seen, especially a lot of the older black and white ones. I can't comment on those. I suspect I wouldn't like some movies I have seen, like Shakespeare in Love and the English Patient, but I can't say they are overrated based on trailers and clips, which is all I really know of them.
