…an evangelical Christian seeking converts. Worked for a while, but then ---
Hebrew media said the man, who was not identified publicly, had posed as a rabbi and a kohen (priest) and worked as a scribe and a mohel, conducting ritual circumcisions. However it was discovered that the family was actually not Jewish, but from a Christian family from New Jersey and had reportedly forged documents to show that they were Jewish in order to emigrate to Israel under the Law of Return. His intent was not to educate Jewish children but to convert them.
Community members expressed shock, noting how involved the family was and fact that after the wife died, the community set up a fund for the family and had been helping to support them. “The family looked completely ultra-Orthodox,” said a community leader. “He had a long beard and a hat, the boys had side curls, the girls went to Beis Yaakov schools. For 5 years we have been supporting them and they deceived us.”
Even though Israel enjoys support from evangelicals in the U.S., Israel keeps a lid on missionary work in the Holy Land. If this man chose to share his Truth by living a lie, if he couldn’t convince others to adopt his beliefs through honest effort, what does that say about his beliefs?

Marijuana may well have been used in excess.

Well, that is one translation.
The other was, execution by stoning.

Oh, yeah. Evangelicals respect the Jewish faith...not. What's an orthodox rabbit anyways? Is it dangerous...like this one?
