kind of surprised neither has started any new marketing material especially A Quiet Place Part II considering its only about four weeks away from release., Jungle Cruise in its defense it doesnt hit theatres till late July but disney supposedly wants this to become the "heir to the throne" for Pirates of the Caribbean.
if anything i guess Jungle Cruise will most likely have something in front of Cru Ella. but A Quiet Place II has had nothing but the same trailer theyve been airing since march of last year.
i saw Nobody. Godzilla vs Kong. and Mortal Kombat all in theatres and A Quiet Place II aired their 2020 trailer in front of all three movies a guy sitting a seat or two behind me said someone needs to remind them its 2021
i mean hell Peter Rabbit part II just released new material and it hits theatres two weeks after Conjuring III

Studios might be spending less on marketing since box office will be a fraction of what it used to be.

We may see a new trailer for Jungle Cruise. I have seen a few Youtube ads for A QUIET PLACE II.

JC looks awful. Johnson seems to be hell bent on having one of the worst filmographies out there.
A Quiet Place 2 looks great. The first one was such a pleasant surprise.

His MUMMY movies were fun, had good one-liners/memorable exchanges, and were enjoyable to re-watch again and again. I think, at the moment, Disney is pushing BLACK WIDOW a bit more heavily on the YouTube trailers/etc. than JUNGLE CRUISE. In part, I would assume because they really want (possibly NEED) it to do well in order to sort of re-launch the MCU, in preparation for DOCTOR STRANGE 2, BLACK PANTHER 2, CAPTAIN MARVEL 2, THOR 4, and the new CAPTAIN AMERICA (& the Winter Soldier), while JUNGLE CRUISE they may hope that Johnson's star power/charisma will help them sell the movie (he has been touted as "Box Office Viagra") and turn it into a franchise a la PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN so they can not only profit on the movie itself, but also more people coming to see "Dwayne Johnson's jungle ride" at the park, buying T-shirts and action figures, etc. etc.
