Odd pairing, but Captain Marvel for me.

Well I'd prefer watching Brie Larson doing Tai Chi topless by the water than Patrick Swayze.

I'm going with Captain Marvel, but Road House is perhaps my top guilty pleasure movie.

Only one of those movies is entertaining.

Haven't seen either of those, I'm gonna make an educated guess that Road House was better though.

Are the people picking Captain Marvel over Road House been treated for the Swayze roundhouse delivered to their heads?

Seems if a film features a strong female lead it's instantly feminist and crap because of it

Seems if a film features a strong female lead it's instantly feminist and crap because of it Very few people would label Mad Max: Fury Road as feminist crap. Personally I see Captain Marvel as feminist crap. There are plenty of good feminist leaning movies, but Captain Marvel isn't one of them.

A bit of both, but more so it just isn't a good movie. The reason I throw in the feminism comment is more to "trigger" someone.

Seems if a film features a strong female lead it's instantly feminist and crap because of it That’s a very narrow minded way to think of things. Alien T2: Judgment Day Wonder Woman (2017) Those are examples of strong female leads. Real feminism. Captain Marvel is fake, female feminist crap. Just like Mulan (2020)

Neither is a particularly good movie so any choice would like be a total preference thing. Really though, this is a odd comparison and feels too much like bait...and the fish are definitely biting.
