I actually like Lost World (1996), so that would probably get my interest.

I didn't like the last one very much, but not to the point of giving up on the series. I will watch any new Jurassic Park movie no matter who is directing it or who is in it. Unless they do a cross-over with "Fast and Furious" or "Transformers" or "Alien vs Predator".

Yeah, but I'm not real confident it'd be that good.

Yes.
Here is a video for movie fans... it explains perfectly why Spielberg’s 1993 Jurassic Park is superior to any other sequel

Probably not. I don't think you can really do any more at this point with the franchise without recycling at this point. Plus, the Spielberg of today isn't like the Spielberg of 1993.

And what would be wrong with that? Nothing, I am just not even remotely interested in "Fast and Furious" or "Transformers". AvP actually I might watch some day, I don't rule it out.

I'd watch it, but I am not very interested in him making another Jurassic Park movie.
The original is lighting in a bottle.

I’ll probably watch the next Jurassic World movie, so yeah, I’d watch one with Spielberg directing, but I don’t know if I’d have high expectations.

Probably not. I don't think you can really do any more at this point with the franchise without recycling at this point. How about a grizzled cop that plays by his own rules gets paired up with genetically modify intelligent raptor to stop an international German terrorist organization? "Goddammit Sam, you were supposed to interrogate the guy, not eat him!"

He hasn't directed a movie with the same spark since Munich imo.

Well Spielberg is in his 70's now and I think it's safe to assume his best years are behind him.
