I am not a huuuge fan of the sub-genre. It was only a few months ago that I finally got around to watching one of the big zombie classics, George Romero's Night of the Living Dead - and I still haven't watched his Dawn of the Dead.
Anyway, for the longest time my favourite zombie movie was probably The Return of the Living Dead, which I found hilarious when it came out. But now my favourite is probably Train to Busan.
I will second Catman's recommendation of Anna and the Apocalypse. Best Scottish zombie Christmas high school musical I've ever seen!

There is a Norwegian zombie comedy called "Dead Snow", about Nazi zombies, that is also pretty good. There was a sequel as well.

Train to Busan was really good. I also like the originals: Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, and Return of the Living Dead.
Zombie movies are okay, but they do get repetitive after a while.

If you don’t consider the infected humans in 28 Days Later zombies then Night of the Living Dead remake.
