From writer Derek Kolstad, who brought us John Wick. This story isn’t all that different - An unassuming man of exceptional violence is brought back into the life they wanted out of. Instead of the Keanu, we get Bob Odenkirk. After watching his performance here, I’m convinced he could have made a good John McClane in Die Hard. He combines that everyman quality, showing he can take a beating but still kicks ass doing so. Worth seeing at least once.

I found it to be a rather poor imitation of John Wick. It lacks Wick's self-awareness, the world building and the amazing slick action choreography. Wick actually has fun with it's rather generic plotline. Also, Keanu Reeves is one of the greatest action stars of all time, IMO. Few action stars can compete with him.
It's written by the same guy but just seemed like a poor knock off of Wick.
I absolutely hated Naishuller's headache inducing shaky cam crap Hardcore Henry. He's no match for Chad Stahelki's brilliance.
