What are these anti-Christian teachings you speak of? It’s in the actions. Christ says love they neighbor, the church does the opposite. Give me an example of Christians going against the teaching Love thy neighbour?

Well what about St. Bartholomew's Day massacre where Christians (Catholics) massacred other Christians (Huguenot) because they interpreted the bible a little differently from them. The whole French Wars of Religion is an example of Christians going against the teaching of love thy neighbor

I can tell you why people are leaving the Catholic Church. The laity and priesthood are largely years ahead of the Vatican. The centre of the Church is being too slow to read the room and adjust doctrine accordingly. The cardinals' obsessions aren't shared 'lower down'... Abortion, homosexuality, and contraception don't register at Parish level. We hold monthly Mass for LGBT+ Catholics in our Diocese, some European, US, and South American priests are going ahead and blessing gay couples' unions. People are in favour of women priests, gay priests, married priests, whatever. People are seeing the difference between the message of love, tolerance, and compassion taught at Mass, and the doctrine of the Church. People just aren't entering Seminary anymore. Our priest is having to work three parishes instead of one. We are down from daily Mass in our parish, to Mass just twice a week, sometimes less if there's funerals to do, or Fr is called to minister to the sick/the dying. Pope Francis is trying to evolve things, but the Cardinals have feet of clay. If the church adjusts the doctrine, what's their excuse for being wrong in the past? How do we know they got it right this time? Is the new doctrine the doctrine of Jehovah or the doctrine of maximizing donations to the church. Theists have been denying evolution since Darwin gave it to us in black-and-white. Yahweh doesn't change. What's their double-talking excuse for why the church evolves? In the words of Thomas Aikenhead: But Jehovah had the last laugh. Thomas was executed for his blasphemy.

Materialism is the God most worshiped in the West.
It's a spiritual dead end, hence the record levels of anxiety and depression.
