Henry Golding is playing Snake Eyes while Samara Weaving is playing Scarlett and Baroness is played by Ursula Corbero. It is still scheduled for a July 2021 release.

So the new Baroness is gonna look more like a "Karen" than a sophisticated or "classy" look? I mean, style wise it seems like a downgrade from what they had going on with SIenna Miller:   or the transparent glasses for combat:  |

Most of them died in "Retaliation"... Is this meant to reboot the series? Or am I stupid?

But not knowing that this is a reboot in an era of movie reboots and that the recasting of some roles from the original by new actresses should also clue you in. |

The first two Gi-Joe mini series are damn good.
I re-watched them recently.
Better writing than movies of today.
I have to check out the Serpentor one again.
Once they got to Cobra-Lalalalalala that was the end of that run.

But not knowing that this is a reboot in an era of movie reboots and that the recasting of some roles from the original by new actresses should also clue you in. Recasting of an actress doesn't always mean that tho... Sometimes schedules don't mesh etc. and a Recasting must occur... |

I can't really see a single thing to like about this movie. I mean, if they were going to cast an Asian actor for the lead role, why not cast a legit martial artist? There's hundreds of them out there. At least this was something marvel got right with Shang Chi.
The rest of the main cast seems similarly uninspired and nothing about the story or trailer seems enough to be interesting.

There's hundreds of them out there. At least this was something marvel got right with Shang Chi. The rest of the main cast seems similarly uninspired and nothing about the story or trailer seems enough to be interesting. The actor who plays Shang Chi is a real life martial artist? Do you have a link for that? And at least the Snake lead actor is better looking than the Shang Chi actor. |

(Granted, I love the female death dealer costumes from UNDERWORLD both the medieval ones with plate armor & chain mail, as well as the modern ones that are the shiny 'leather' armor.) Her costume, if I had to describe it to someone now, would be like a cross between Anne Hathaway's Catwoman costume from DARK KNIGHT RISES and Kate Backinsale's UNDERWORLD gear. This new costume, I mean it may end up looking much better in motion, but in a still it looks like a fancy take on something from the old POWER RANGERS.
