That’s possibly the dumbest part of those movies. What good would a bunch of dinosaurs do in terms of serving as modern military weapons?

Savage armies without the need for ground troops. They can also be modified for acid or fire breathing too if the creator wants.

Attack animals as mentioned above. For close quarters combat and locations too treacherous for human soldiers. To a point I could see that happening if the technology existed. But would it be as effective as launching a drone or something with a lot of firepower, I’m not so sure.

Of course drones are more effective but they may send dinosaurs in to take out human guards in order to secure a vital base without blowing it all up.

Targeted killings, bomb detection, guarding, etc.

I think they were just looking for an alternative method of profiting from the resurrection of dinosaurs. The nature park scene was getting played out and so some bright spark has the woeful idea of converting some of the more vicious ones into military tools. Trained raptors may have been of some benefit in jungle environments alright.

Movies like this and the Alien movies need to know you can't weaponize a creature that can be hostile.

Movies like this and the Alien movies need to know you can't weaponize a creature that can be hostile. This. How are you going to control dinos or xenomorphs? And what would be the point anyway? If you want to wipe out a country's or planet's population, why not just use a neutron bomb?

They should have made dinosaur cannons. That would be cool.

If the raptors did have some of the abilities dogs then it would work. Smell this rag of Bin Laden now find him and maul him.
The Jurassic Park franchise can give the raptors any qualities because the raptors they depict have little resemblance to any species that roamed the Earth anyway. Raptors were only a couple of feet high.

Movies like this and the Alien movies need to know you can't weaponize a creature that can be hostile. I’m not even specifically talking about that. Even if we assumed that they had well trained dinosaurs, what good would they do against machine guns, tanks, and bomber jets?

I already answered that question of yours both directly and indirectly on this thread.

The original idea for Jurassic Park 4 was human-dinosaur hybrids, which was really going beyond the bounds of reality. I think what ended up in the movie is actually pretty realistic in a world where dinosaurs can be cloned and reproduced. The raptors of this movie universe are called the second most intelligent species on the planet and are already well on their way to domestication. I always took it the raptors weren't on display to the public yet and were being trained to become some type of Sea World dolphin show act. InGen had already asked for military assistance in training the raptors, so why would the military's interest in them stop at creating an amusement park act? The execution of Jurassic World and Fallen Kingdom may not be all that intelligent, but the logic of it is sound.

The funny part happens in the 2nd Jurassic World where they develop a type of laser gun where they just need to point to the enemy for the Indoraptor to attack although I still don't understand if you are in a position where you an point this laser gun to an enemy, why not just point a regular gun and fire?
Fallen Kingdom... When I realized that the franchise could actually sink lower than JP III.

So why is a dinosaur better than using an armed drone to eliminate the target?
