It has some humor here and there, but I don't know if I'd call it a comedy. First Alien and Aliens on Free Form (Family Channel) and now this.

The only scene i can think of in that movie that could be close to funny is this one.
At least as far as i can remember. its been some years since i watched the movie.
I can`t really see how anybody could watch Forrest Gump and think comedy.

I guess Comedy Central thinks Bubba dying in Forrest's arms and Forrest crying at Jenny's grave are laugh-out-loud moments.

Comedy Central is owned by ViacomCBS, which also owns Paramount, so that’s probably why.

Forrest Gump is more of a drama than comedy and better off airing on TBS or TNT.

It may have a bit of a comedic edge but it still has very heavy-handed subject matter and mostly treats it as serious. I guess next is Cast Away being aired on there.
