With John Travolta and Bruce Willis reuniting for an upcoming movie, let's talk about another movie that was a reunion between John Travolta and another Pulp Fiction cast member, Samuel L. Jackson, for Basic (2003), which was directed by John McTiernan. Leonard Maltin Movie Guide Review: Basic (2003) - 2 out of 4 stars
"When things go awry during a military training exercise, base commander Daly calls in Travolta, the best interrogator he ever had, to question the remaining members of the group, whose stories don't add up. Essentially a whodunit, this film keeps adding layers of confusion so that it becomes less interesting as it goes along! The final "twist" seems to negate the entire story, like a bad shaggy-dog joke. Travolta is in great form, however. Panavision."

6/10
Decent thriller, but I agree that the final twist hurts it.
