Graham, a leader of the fascist and anti-science (anti-Reality) evangelical political movement, has done something sensible. (Don’t have a fainting spell, I’m plumb out of smelling salts.) Although I am far from encouraged by this one break from right-extremist political doctrine, I hope his sheep will listen just this once.
Graham recommended becoming vaccinated back in March. Now, with a program airing tonight but previewed on YouTube, he tells his congregation:
“I want people to know that god loves them. He will forgive you and accept you into his presence. I want people to know that COVID-19 can kill you. But you have a vaccine out there that could possibly save your life. And if you wait, it could be too late.
He doesn’t go overboard with vaccine praise but even this little bit should help. But don’t start looking for a turnaround from him. Remember that last year he said we have COVID because “Man turned his back on god.” He trashed Dr. Fauci. He ignored all the deaths from the Former Guy’s neglect but faulted Biden and Harris for not being “pro-life” enough.
But for the 10-seconds it takes to speak the sentences highlighted above, “You go, Frankie!”

But for the 10-seconds it takes to speak the sentences highlighted above, “You go, Frankie!” He was just interviewed on CNN, and he was very tentative with his comments. He called covid potentially deadly, but he conspicuously avoided urging evangelical Christians to get vaccinated. Instead, he urged them to "consider" it and pray about it. If he previously was being more emphatic about it, he seems to be retreating now.

A little disappointing but not a huge surprise. Thanks for the update.
