I was 10 years old that summer.
Seeing Raiders of the Lost Ark and Superman II in the movie theaters was a life-altering experience for my young eyes.

I saw Raiders of the Lost Ark, Zorro the Gay Blade and the Howling out of home.
I wish I saw Clash of the Titans, somehow we missed that.
I think it was because by then VHS was around and we were either watching a lot on video or we figured movies would come on tape fairly quickly.

Great year, I remember seeing Raiders in the theater with my parents and some of their friends. I was pretty young but it made a huge impression on me and history and archaeology are still some of my favorite things to read about.
