I saw Daniel Craig in the "Overnight Salad" sketch on SNL and was surprised how convincing he sounded. He actually does a pretty good southern accent in Knives Out as well.

I'm hardly an expert on accents, but I've heard Christian Bale is really good with accents. I recall this story that on the shoot of American Psycho the crew was surprised when the shoot wrapped and he started talking with his native Welsh accent, because they thought he was American.
Also Hugh Laurie on House.

Kenneth Branagh did a flawless American accent in the 1991 thriller Dead Again.

Also Hugh Laurie on House. Many people probably think Bale is American, because most of his roles since American Psycho he plays an American and rarely slips with the accent.

Anyone can do a good American accent. It is only the Americans who sometimes fail at American accents.

Also Hugh Laurie on House. First one I thought of. And, I agree. Having said that, I couldn't watch "House". I mean, after seeing Laurie play a bumbling idiot in the "Blackadder" series, I had a tough time seeing him playing a serious role. Joker's Wilde
